2023 Soke cup in review
1. What was your favourite thing(s) about the whole Soke Cup experience?
Really liked meeting everyone. Made friends and good learning from them in the days before. All with a slightly different approach from country to country.
2. What did you learn from the experience?
Kumite - be more patient. Don't be in a rush. But when there is an opportunity to just go for it and trust the training that I have done.
3. If you were to do it all again, what would you do differently?
Better preparation for self. Eating, sleeping etc
4. What would you say to those who might have their eye on the next Soke Cup?
- Even if you are not set on doing it, have a go at the training leading up to the Soke Cup as it will help you grow.
- If you are going to do it, really commit to it.
