2023 Soke cup in review
1. What was your favourite thing(s) about the whole Soke Cup experience?
My favourite part about the Soke Cup was experiencing the new tournament setting especially with new people.
2. What did you learn from the experience?
Kata- I need to shake off nerves, my performance was better in practice than on the ring
Kumite- I improved my Kumite during the tournament, although still need to work on my patience.
3. If you were to do it all again, what would you do differently?
I would try and be less stressed and don’t overthink it in the Kumite ring.
4. What would you say to those who might have their eye on the next Soke Cup?
Do it! Amazing experience and don’t overthink everything. Stay committed!
