Training

The cornerstone to being a great martial artist is training.  The traditional approach to learning karate is to find a good teacher, join their dojo and start training on a regular basis.  This is still a great approach, but with the use of technology there are now even more ways to train.  Karate 4 Life is founded in the traditions of the Chito-Ryu style of Karate.

Head instructors, Martin Phillips Sensei & Sandra Phillips Sensei together run a successful full-time karate dojo on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia.  Sunshine Coast Karate operates 6 days per week, currently 32 classes per week for students of all ages (from 4 yrs+).

In addition, they run a virtual dojo, with live online karate classes via Zoom.  Currently 3 days per week.

Also they are working towards launching a series of online courses here on this website at the Karate 4 Life E-Dojo (Online University), so you can train in the comfort of your own home at a time that works for you.
