Sensei Sandra hard at “work”… at least that’s what she tells me.
Anyway, I caught her “working hard” at home the other day and thought it would be a good opportunity to give others an insight into some of what she does when she’s not at the dojo.
Even when she’s not teaching she’s always thinking about karate, talking about karate or practicing karate. I this case she was reviewing her video notes from her recent training trip to Japan.
Normally for these kinds of trips she takes notebooks full of training notes as a reference point for her own training and teaching. But this year I encouraged her to make some video notes too whilst the lessons were still fresh in her mind.
She obviously enjoyed the process, because she’s still watching the videos she made.
